In celebration of Morgan Hill’s 120th birthday, the Morgan Hill Historical Society and Leadership Morgan Hill are partnering to bring the community a fun, family-friendly Living History Day on May 2! This free event features interactive activities and the opportunity to explore Morgan Hill’s rich history at Villa Mira Monte.

During Living History Day, Leadership Morgan Hill and the Morgan Hill Historical Society will be hosting "Tea House Trivia" where 6 teams of 4 players will compete, showcasing their knowledge of Morgan Hill. The prize for the winning team is a party in the Hiram Morgan Hill House which includes wine and a charcuterie board for up to 20 people (all sponsored by Rosy Bergin). Craft Roots is a locally owned and family friendly vegan bar and grill restaurant, who will generously donate 10% of their total sales on June 19th to support the LMH Class of 2025 projects.

Meet the Class of 2025 and learn about the projects: Revitalization of Native Garden and Reinstallation of the "Loki" owl sculpture.

Reveal 2023

MORGAN HILL, CA – Leadership Morgan Hill (LMH) annually selects a member or members of the Morgan Hill community to be recognized and celebrated for their sustained leadership that improves our community. This year the honoree(s) will be announced at a “Reveal” event to be held at Guglielmo Winery on Thursday February 2 from 5:30 to 7PM.  Wine, beer and appetizers will be served and attendees will be challenged to identify the recipient(s) while learning a lot about him/her/them in a fun way. We hope to see you there, there is no charge to attend.

The award will be presented at LMH’s annual gala LEAD (Leadership Excellence Award Dinner) at Guglielmo Winery on Saturday September 9. Please put that on your calendar and plan to attend.  Information on reservations and event theme will be announced later this spring.

WHY LEADERSHIP?

Leadership Morgan Hill is a training and development program created to inspire future leaders to community service. The local program, founded in 1995, is similar in concept to leadership programs in place in many other California communities. The nine-month leadership program is designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of the local political, economic and government structures of our community.
